Mary Frances Anderson

Mary died of cervical cancer on October 30, 1993, at the age of 37.  Mary was a 1979 graduate of UNCA with a degree in general management.  In 1980, she moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, where she was employed by a travel agency and wrote travel brochures.  Mary returned to Buncombe County in 1990.  Mary had been a volunteer for the Girl Scouts, Pisgah Council, and a volunteer for the Special Olympics.
