Occupation:  School teacher and part-time singer/ musician.  My husband and I also own and manage several rental properties in the Asheville area. 

Special Interests:  Scrapbooking, Reading, Traveling, Movies, and Music. My husband is in the music recording business and we have a recording studio in our home.  We are also part of a musical group called Lifter, which leads worship at our home church, Grace Community (in Mills River) once a month.

Significant Events:  My husband and I celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary this month.  My oldest daughter will soon get her driver's license and recently won 1st place in the State History Day Competition for writing a historical paper.  My youngest daughter is looking forward to being on the yearbook staff at Reynolds Middle next year and enjoys playing volleyball and horseback riding.

Other:   After being a stay-at-home mom for the past 18 years, I am returning to the teaching profession this fall.  I will be teaching 4th grade at Candler Elementary alongside another Enka '74 grad, Jan Caldwell.
