Spouse's Name:  Mark S. Huffman

Children's Names:  Jeremy P. Godfrey (31), Joshua S. Godfrey (27), and Nikki Beth (20). Step-sons: Kyle (18) and Derek (15)

Occupation:  Mark and I work for the same company selling NAPA parts.

Special Interests:  Mark and I love sharing time with each other, our children, grandchildren, friends, and our dogs.  Mark and his two sons, Kyle and Derek are avid hunters and fishermen.  I like bicycling, golfing, and self improvement such as reading, listening to tapes and completing the Dale Carnegie Course.
Significant Events:  My blessed children are my most significant events in life.  Jeremy works as a technician for the City of Asheville Water and his wife is a doctor at a local hospital.  She will be completing another Masters and they will be relocating.  Their son Jackson, my grandson is handsome and smart, he loves airplanes and trains.  Josh graduated from Montreat College, after two years at Western, he roomed with Charles Thomas, Atlanta Braves and played baseball.  Now he is a Corporal in the Marines, almost completing his 6 months tenure on the Harry S. Truman, and acquiring a Masters in Education and will probably teach and coach locally.  Most important he will be reunited with his wife and newborn baby, Jacob.  Nikki Beth is a volunteer fireman for the Reynolds district and paving her way through life.  She is mentally tough and will speak up, she will be very successful in life, I'm sure.
Other:  I hope that we as a class can get together more often and that I personally can get to know some of you.  I realized that other than Marlene, out of my class, I have no real close friends or had any.  How can that be? And the answer is I stayed aloof and evasive, my home life was a turmoil and after my dad died when I was 16, there seemed no options other than the Godfrey's took me in.  Thank God, they were wonderful!
I've been up the Corporate ladder and down to rock bottom, and I have a wonderful job and always exploring other options.  So let's get together, have lunch, if you are going to be in the Hickory area, send me an email or call me!  And I will do the same!
