I love Paula Deen and got to meet her in Savannah, Georgia in 2006. Significant Events: I graduated from Western Carolina University in 1978 with a BS Ed. degree in Business with a minor in Music. I married Paul (I met him at WCU) in that same year. After working a few of years and after the birth of our first child, I decided to stay home with my kids until they were in school . I worked as a pre-school teacher at Bent Creek Baptist Church until I began working as an assistant in Intensive Intervention at Sand Hill-Venable Elementary School. Then I decided to go back to college and get my degree in Special Education. I have been teaching K-3rd grade Resource classes at Hominy Valley Elementary School since 2001.
